Pleb Say #10

What a way to start off the new year!  SABC had the pleasure of sitting down with Andi Pitt and did she deliver!  She spoke on her bitcoin story and her journey into bitcoin, both bitcoin and lightning protocols, projects she thinks are really cool in lightning, the benefits bitcoins offers to people in the world, and also how bitcoin touches so many different areas in life and how it resonates with different people in different situations.  The plebs came with some awesome questions in the AMA that followed!  Ranging from questions on the three lightning languages and lightning as a layer 2 on top of bitcoin, fediment, the breeze protocol, bitcoin models, and also how bitcoin can be used as payment rails versus the visa/master card payment rails.  All in all it was a great night filled with knowledge and great conversations.  We'd like to thank Geekdom for allowing us to use their event centre for our meet ups, them being the tech hub of the city and down town in the heart of San Antonio just makes so much sense to have the club assemble there!  If your in the tech field and would love a place to work reach out to them, and start there they are always willing to help advance new innovative tech in the count down city!  Reminder we are having our next meet up Feb. 9 Thursday at 7pm back at Geekdom! We will be bringing in the Fold couple Austin & Jana it's gonna be a good one, as Jana will speak on her journey as she is very new to the bitcoin space, and Austin on how he became a full stack bitcoin developer!  Your not going to want to miss this one, especially if your a developer who has questions on the technical protocol level!
