Pleb Say #31

As we come to the end of the year, we wanted to close it out with a bang! This season is all about gathering, and we were fortunate to have the support and participation of local rancher/farmer organizations such as the Devine Markets Association, Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, and the Weston A. Price Foundation-San Antonio Chapter, headlined by Smith Pastures from Devine, Texas. We were honored to host special guest speaker Matthew Lysiak, to talk about his book Fiat Food which discusses the profound impact of inflation on the American diet and how Bitcoin can fix this.

The audience was captivated as Matthew shared his personal journey, transitioning from a mainstream reporter covering government corruption to becoming a Bitcoiner. He shared insights from his nationally recognized best-selling book on food health and highlighted how the debasement of our currency has affected the overall mental and physical health of our nation. The evening was filled with fascinating discoveries, camaraderie, laughter, and insightful discussions.

What was intended as a simple end of year meet up turned into an epic celebration as Bitcoin soared past the $100k price level during the evening. We here at the San Antonio Bitcoin Club want to give a huge thank you to all the plebs who joined us - we hope it was a memorable experience for all. A special shout out to Smith Pastures, for connecting us with the greater rancher/farmer community, and for providing delicious food for the evening. Lastly a huge thank you to Matthew for traveling to San Antonio, and sharing with us the most valuable asset of your time. Look out for his book Fiat Food!

It was truly an amazing event and we look forward to doing another food based event here in 2025. Happy New Years San Antonio! Look out for our next meet up January as we will be speaking with Greencandle Investments to talk micro economics, macro economics, and why the bitcoin price is going crazy?! Here's the video in-case you missed this last meet up!
